![]() I enjoy the Unbound system, combine skills, need to use items to improve the self/skills prior to Tiering up. You can combine classes and skills to create newer and better ones. This is one of my favorite LitRPG series.īeneath the Dragoneye Moons has an interesting system, everything you get unlocked is based off what you do. ![]() The system in the story isn't super interesting, but there is a lot of fun theory crafting on the Discord due to how much is possible. Both of which can do impossible things like drown a fish. There are also Concepts, which are similar to Dao and allow you to impose your will on the world. People are born with Talents that do something, sometimes this something is a negative like not being able to use any non-fire skills. Many people that dislike the story dislike it because of how obnoxious the MC is. He Who Fights With Monsters's system is heavily praised, even by many of people who dislike the series. My favorite of the three here since theres no overarching magic system that forces people into a specific magic "school" or role. MC dies and gets sent back in time to the beginning because plot, and since he knows what magic/items are good and which ones are crap he buys a set that has great synergy, and advises side characters to do the same. Reborn Apocalypse is a "humans get sent to another world that has a System governing it, but because humans are a weak race, they get a special store where they can buy powers/magic/weapons/items, but there is a limited number buyable from the shop (as in only 1 or 2 copies of the OP expensive abilities at a time)" kind of story. Probably get cool powers to make your own golem power armor or something too. combine say, lava, golem, animation, life, power, & shield essences, and you'd basically be a mage specializing in creating/commanding super tank-y lava golems. Kill a fire lizard it drops lava essence. ![]() So, you kill a rock golem, and it might drop rock, golem, or animation essence depending on the rarity/luck. People get 6 (I think) slots for "essences" that drop from monsters, and all 6 combine into their specialty. Personally I'm not a fan of the MC, but the magic system is neat. Green = healing which could be regeneration, straight HP healing, cure disease, etc. Blue = defensive, which could be anything from a magical shield, to dmg type mitigation. Don't quote me on the colors since I havent read the books in a while, but its something like red powers = offense which could be anything from a fireball/lightning spell, to an ability that increases weapon damage. Three most unique I can think of are Red Mage, where people kill monsters get colored power-up thingies (cant remember what they're called), and each color corresponds to a different type of magic, and each power-up grants different abilities to different people based on what colors they already have slotted in their "Magic tree".
